"One love that I'm sure of..." I finished my song 'One Love', took a bow, and yelled, "Goodnight California!" I jumped off the stage, grabbed a water bottle, and went to prepare for the Meet and Greet. I was proforming at the California state fair. And the Texas state fair. And the Kansas state fair. Basically, I was proforming in every state. The concerts- wait what am I talking about? I wouldn't even call them concerts. There was a stage, yes, but the all-time-highest-number-of-people-that-came-to-a-concert-was...50. 50 stinking people. That's it. I don't mean to sound selfish or self-centered or anything, but I would expect a few more fans for the girl who has the #3 song on the Dot.Com Top Three on Radio Disney. I sighed, draining the rest of my water. I sat down a the table and prepared for the Meet and Greet. A fan came along. "Would you sign this?" said a girl in a monotone voice. I gave my award winning (not really) smile and signed the picture. When the girl got out of line, she whispered to her friend standing beside her, "I'm going to sell this on e-Bay. I don't want it." "It probably won't sell." her friend said and they both laughed. "Your welcome!" I yelled. No reply. I wish, just for once that I could be someone else. Just for once. "Will you sign this?" a timid voice asked. I looked up and saw...me? I blinked. It wasn't me...it was just...someone who looked like me...exactly like me... "Sure I'll sign it!" I said enthusiasticly. Above my head, the concert speakers were playing my CD. 'My Shoes' came on. Just then, I had an idea. I was already divising a plan. This was my golden oppertunity. this was my chance to step into someone else's shoes...
